...can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!
Kasey's class decorated Gingerbread houses this month. I think she ate more of the icing than she got on the house! It was a lot of fun and a special time for mommy and daughter. Here are some pics:

10 things that start with....
Let me do the letter 'C' of things that I like and/or can't do without....I stole this idea from someone else, but I will do it only so I can tag Greg and give him more ideas to post!
1. Candy
2. Chocolate
3. Cheese
4. Charmin
5. Cookies
6. Caramel (I must be hungry!)
7. Car
8. Chicken
9. Computer
10. Crest
So, Greg, can you name 10 things that start with the letter 'M' that you just can't do without?

One BIG difference.....
My dear friend Kelly and I agree on a lot of things. We often share the same thoughts and can finish each others sentences, which is scary. We love us some Y&R, little peeps (and must someday visit their farm), and of course Reba rocks. But, there is one BIG fundamental truth that we disagree on. Yes peeps, although Kelly was born in good ole GA, her family is all from Florida and they have sucked her in to their lies....yes, she is a gator. I know, visions of blue and orange just corrupted your mind....I'm gagging too. I, on the other hand, was born and raised in GA and I am a DAWG, like good Georgia girls should be! We agree to disagree, and we don't even trash talk to each other too much, as we have to work together on a daily basis! GO DAWGS, SIC 'EM.....WOOF, WOOF, WOOF! I SAID IT'S GREAT, TO BE, A GEORGIA BULLDOG!!!! Loves you, Kelly.....I'm just sayinnnnnnn!!!!!!

It's Saturday Afternoon in Athens....
Here are my guys waiting for the UGA v. Tennessee game to start. The atmosphere was a little dead coming off the loss to Alabama, but we rooted the Dawgs on to a victory! Tyler enjoyed the game and almost made it all the way home before falling asleep in the car. He had a long day. We will do it again this Saturday against Vandy. Gooooooooo Dawgs, Sic em....woof, woof, woof!!!
Let's go to the Fair, Y'all!

my baby started Pre-K today..WAAAAA!
It was a sad day in the Gibson household this morning. Our 'baby' Kasey started Pre-K today. I can't believe she is old enough to be in school. As you can see, she was just fine. She hung up her pink monkey bookbag that was bigger than her and headed to the toys on the table. She didn't even look up at me to say bye, as I pushed back the tears!

You're Gonna Miss This....
'You're gonna want this back. You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast.' 10 years ago today, I married my college sweetheart. There was something good that happened at Macon State! 10 years and 2 kids later, life is good! Time goes by so fast, for those newlyweds out there, cherish every moment. I love you, baby! Here's to 10 more as good as the last!

15 long hours later....
It is hard to believe that 8 years ago today, you were born into this world. Our first born son, what a joy you have been. After a very long day, and night, Andrew 'Tyler' Gibson made his appearance at 11:59 pm, June 15th, 2000. I wonder just how many ice cream cones your Papas ate waiting for you to be born? I will never forget that day that God blessed us with our son. Happy Birthday, big boy. We love you very much!

You Raise Me Up...
Today was Tyler's 2nd grade end of year program. It was bittersweet as he will be moving up from the primary school to elementary next year. The pics are from pre-k to 2nd grade, wow, my little man is growing up too fast! At the end of the program, the entire 2nd grade (or the graduating class of 2018!) sang 'You Raise Me Up'. As soon as the music started, I was already tearing up. You know I was a mess by the end (and even as I'm typing this....geeze!). My baby, Kasey, will start pre-k in August, so the journey will begin for her as we try to raise her up as best we can. Ready or not....here she comes!

Busy time for us at work.....2 more ballgames...team party on Saturday....Tyler's 8th bday party next Saturday....I promise I will post some pics of all this! Here are a few pics of the kids swimming at my Aunt's in Cochran on Memorial Day.

I don't know about this...
I may have overestimated myself on this one. Do I really have time (ok, energy....I am lazy) to keep up a blog page? Probably not, but oh well. This weekend went by fast as usual. Stayed home friday night and cleaned house. Saturday's ballgames were at noon and 2 and then hubby had umpire duty at 4, so there goes that day. Sunday morning service was awesome, then I made time for a nap while the kids and Kris played outside....yea!

First Blog ever!
Ok, this if obviously the 'in' thing. I figured since I work in the field of technology, I should really get on board. I have no idea what I'm doing so bear with me. I hope everyone is having a blessed day!
